Reptopia is a reptile specialty store in Albany, Oregon. We opened our doors to the public on May 5, 2012. We have been helping educate on proper reptile care for over 10 years. Reptopia is owned by Veronica and Troy Owen.
Before we opened Reptopia we started a reptile rescue (Beautiful Dragons Reptile Rescue) in 1999. We have been rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out healthy reptiles for over 24 years.
We really like the one-day reptile expos because they are easier on the reptiles. Imagine being in a deli cup for 3-4 days. That sometimes happens at the longer expos and can even be longer than that if the vendor has to travel far.
Another reason we wanted to start our own expo is because there's no reptile events or expos down in the Salem/Albany/Eugene area.
